PROGEN AURA CAMERA 6000
Guy Coggins from Progen invented modern aura photography and the Progen 6000 is their state of the art still camera. It is easy to use and quick, producing an instant colour photo of your head and shoulders, surrounded by your aura. The aura at the main chakras from Crown to Heart are also shown.
It comes with a basic analyser which can give a printed analysis. However, as it does not pick up the nuances we do not believe it substitutes for a personal analysis, nor does it give advice - which we feel is the whole point of the photo. An extended analyser is available as an upgrade.
The process is simple, the subject sits in front of a black backdrop and puts both hands on sensors until the photo is taken. The photographer takes the picture, pulls the undeveloped picture from the camera, waits one minute and peels the developed picture from the backing. That's all there is to it! The skill lies in analysing the photo and advising the client.
We offer a training and support package to purchasers which includes training for 2 people on our premises. This covers both the hardware and photo analysis. You need to be used to dealing with clients and advising them. We import your camera, dealing with all the administration. We test it and provide UK cabling. After training we offer a 30-day support hot-line and after that time ongoing support during office hours or via e-mail. We network any new information and we let you know when we have enquiries for media or exhibition work in your area. Any members of the public asking for photos are directed to their nearest camera owner. Although some of the above will only be applicable for those who can visit our premises, we can ship a camera to you anywhere in the world and we will do our best to help you with any questions you may have.
The basic price is US$10,000 which gives you the camera, hand sensors, cables, carrying case, 500-shot cartridge, a few packs of film to get you started, a video and a book, some display materials, sample photos and analyses. You need a small PC printer to print out how many shots left on your cartridge and the analysis if you are using it. Delivery is included but you will need to allow for import duty and VAT if applicable. The import tariff we use is for "special effects camera".
Running costs consist of film (Polaroid 108, 669 or Fuji 100C) and memory module (up to US$2 per shot) which goes down a "click" every time you take a photo. You can buy film locally and the module from Progen, or we can supply you with one but it does not carry the upgrade advantages of the Progen one. Cost of Progen modules gives a lifetime guarantee on hardware, access to any publicity materials available and goes towards the cost of upgrades, i.e.. the amount you pay depends on how many modules you have purchased.
We have had our camera 8 years and have found it extremely reliable and very robust.
Progen have recently brought out additions to the still camera which shows the aura in motion. Some work through the main camera and you will need a PC with monitor to show the picture. In fact they are very similar to the InnerActive systems but need the still camera and we do not feel definition is as good as with InnerActive. Their advantage is that if you already have a Progen still camera it may cost you less to add the extras (because of the warranty module) than to purchase elsewhere. There are new features being added all the time. The image can be frozen for a printout, by itself or with a report.
Progen have also brought out a new imager which does not need the camera. It uses a single hand plate plus 3 finger sensors for the other hand. We have not yet had an evaluation unit but from what we have seen on video, it looks impressive, the aura moving with the person. You can also put 2 people together and see their auras interact.
All Progen's products have a memory module.
