Brighton is on the South Coast of England and is well served by trains. The nearest airport is Gatwick, about 30 minutes away, as is Newhaven's ferry port.. The nearest motorway is the M23 which takes you almost into the centre of Brighton, but roads within Brighton itself tend to be very slow moving indeed. Brighton is full of one-way streets and there are some pedestrian areas so it can take much longer to get around than you might think. There are good car-parks but on-road parking is limited and in most places you will need a voucher, obtainable from many shops such as newsagents.
Ship Street is at right angles to the sea front, but is one-way towards it. To see a map of the area, click on our picture.
At this time of year we are usually open from 10.30 to 17.00 Mondays-Fridays, 10.00 to 18.00 on Saturdays, 12.00 - 16.00 on Sundays. Bank Holidays can be a little different so it is sensible to ring first.
